John D. Meade

John D. Meade serves as professor of Old Testament at Phoenix Seminary and as director of the Text & Canon Institute. He’s recently been added to the faculty at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he’ll begin teaching Fall 2025. John is co-author with Peter Gurry of Scribes and Scripture: The Amazing Story of How We Got the Bible (Crossway, 2022), and he edited A Critical Edition of the Hexaplaric Fragments of Job 22–42.
